I have a lot of exciting things to share with you today.
The book proofs have arrived and they look gorgeous! I'll share my unboxing and pictures below.
But first, some housekeeping. I have decided to go with a pledge manager to complete the surveys to collect addresses. This simplifies my life in terms of fulfillment, especially for digital rewards. I have just submitted it and are waiting for them to review it. A smoke test will be sent to a select few in a couple of days. Once I am certain there's no issues, the rest of the surveys will go out to everyone.
You'll also be able to add on any last minute gifts or items. I have decided it's too much to run another campaign this year, so my planner will be available through the pledge manager instead.
The pledge manager email will come from Backerkit.
The pledge manager will be open until Dec 1st when I will lock orders and charge for any additional add-ons.
I am just waiting for the character cards and physical stretch goals to arrive, to start shipping your pledges. Please note, some add-ons might delay shipping if I run out of stock.
Storyteller tiers and early bird tiers are expected to start shipping mid December. With the bulk of my shipping happening in January after the holiday rush.

It's more beautiful than I imagined. And the collector's edition definitely holds its own weight! Here it is beside the paperbacks.
All I am waiting for are character cards and stretch goals then you can be as enchanted by this beautiful book as much as I am!
Speaking of enchanting, seeing the dragon book box come together is a thing of beauty! Take a look at this!

Since I know that the fancy box isn't in everyone's budget, I created a few gift sets in the pledge manager as well.
Another product I'm excited about is the planner. While I don't have a physical copy yet, here's a quick look at the interior layout.
Well that's all for today. Hopefully my next update will be to announce the pledge manager and hopefully even the cards! (Though I don't expect them until Dec 5th). But one can dream.

I know you guys are likely as eager as I am to read the novels. And what better day than Halloween. Especially since Blood & Scales happen in my world's equivalent of Samhain!

I am including all three versions for you, the collector's edition (which is exclusive to this Kickstarter) as well as the individual eBooks. While there are three "versions", the first link of the collector's edition has it all. The art, and both books!
Please don't share these links as I only made enough downloads available for each backer. Please respect the investment you and everyone else made on it.
The links will take you to Bookfunnel. From there you will be able to send the eBook to your preferred e-reader. And their customer support is excellent. However, please don't hesitate to contact me if you have problems. While I'll be trick or treating with my kids tonight, I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.
Please note that the links will ask for your email, but joining the mailing list is optional. This allows me to see who claims the books and make sure it's not leaked to unknown people.

Wow, what a rollercoaster ride this campaign has been! And we did amazing thanks to each of you!
In fact, I am so grateful for each of you that my Muse decided I should colour the NSFW art for not only the book interior, but your gift character cards too!
Also, instead of just the black and white versions, all backers will get the high resolution colour art as well!
Over the next few hours Kickstarter will charge your cards on file. It occasionally happens that a charge fails due to expired cards or other reasons. In these cases you will get reminder emails from Kickstarter to update your payment information.
This process can take up to 2 weeks before Kickstarter sends me the funds and I can order the physical books and cards.
In the meantime, I will send the links for eBooks in a separate update to the tiers who get it. If you selected eBook add-ons for Star Found, I will message you personally to give you the link to your book. Expect that update in an hour or so! That means you can start reading the book tonight 😊
All other digital rewards will be delivered at a later date.
In a few days I will send out a survey for the email and other information I need to send your books to. So keep your eye on your emsils for those.
Until then, I will order the book proofs to make sure everything is perfect and once funds clear I'll order the bulk of the books and physical rewards. It takes about 3-4 weeks for books to get printed and arrive back to me at which point I'll sign and personalize them. This might take a week or two.
I anticipate most rewards to ship early January. But you never know, sometimes things get done faster 😊.
If you were hoping to give these as a gift before Christmas, please message me ASAP as I will do my best to see if it's possible. However, due to shipping costs increasing for the holidays, there would be an extra cost to ship sooner. But I will do these on a case by case basis.
Other than the eBook update to relevant tiers, I will touch base with you in a few days. In the meantime, sit back, relax, and have a happy Halloween!
